Onitsuka Tiger is a fashion brand originating from Japan. Known for its historically rooted design and high functionality. it is popular among fashionistas around the world.
In 2024, Onitsuka Tiger CAFÉ 75 in Ginza reopened after renovation. It offers hand-dripped coffee, smoothies, shaved ice, and more.

As the name "Red Concept Store" suggests, the building features a striking red glass exterior. It stands out in Ginza, where stylish shops and cafes line the streets.
After going through the entrance, go up the stairs at the back left. On the way up, you will be impressed by the large Onitsuka Tiger logo on a bright red wall.
The cafe is decorated in red and black, with a modern and stylish design that is very appealing. The trendy space is also perfect for social media posts. In the vivid red space at the back of the café, you’ll find a carpet featuring the Japanese anime character Astro Boy.
There are counter seats and table seats. Once seated, the waiter brought us water and informed about the limited-time menu.
The menu is placed on the table. This time, we ordered the Latte (Iced) (1,000 yen including tax) for a drink, and a matcha-flavored shaved ice CAFE 75 KAKIGORI_MATCHA (2,000 yen including tax) for dessert.
Shaved ice is a simple dessert made by finely shaving ice and pouring syrup over it. Matcha is powdered tea leaves, offering a stronger bitterness and richer flavor than regular green tea. Onitsuka Tiger Café’s shaved ice uses seasonal ingredients, so the flavors change depending on the time of year. When we visited, there were two flavors available: MATCHA and BERRY.
While waiting, you can also watch the staff preparing the drinks.
The shaved ice has arrived! It is piled so high that we could not even see the plate. It’s very voluminous, so many people share one between two people.
Hot tea is served as a complimentary drink with the shaved ice.
When you scoop the shaved ice with a spoon, you will notice that it is fluffy, light and soft. The ice is shaved very finely, making it smooth and easy to eat.
The slightly bitter and distinctive flavor of matcha spreads in your mouth, and the pleasant aroma of tea lingers as you exhale. The bitterness is not too strong, so even those who are not fond of matcha can enjoy it. The sweetness of the topping cream and syrup adds an accent to the flavor, making it very delicious! The shaved ice is filled with cream and Japanese chestnut paste (chestnut native to Japan). The sweetness of the cream and Japanese chestnut complement the mildly sweet matcha flavor, creating a well-balanced and easy-to-enjoy taste.
The iced latte has a rich flavor of hand-drip coffee. The ratio between milk and coffee is just right, making it refreshing and easy to drink.
I was able to enjoy the delicious menu while relaxing in a stylish space. It is highly recommended not only for Onitsuka Tiger fans but also as a tourist spot!
The basement floor offers customization services. When you purchase Onitsuka Tiger’s iconic "MEXICO 66," you can add your own original embroidery. It is so popular that lines form even on weekdays, so it is best to visit early in the day.
At the first-floor coffee stand, takeout menu items are available. Compared to the café on the second floor, coffee can be purchased at a more reasonable price. We also recommend sipping your take-out drink while browsing the in-store collection.
1. Exit Ginza Station through Exit A9 and walk straight down the street. (You can also get there from Exit A10.)
2. When you reach the intersection, turn left just before the crosswalk.
3. Continue walking for a while and you will see a red building and a sign. Onitsuka Tiger CAFÉ 75 is on the second floor of that building.
In addition to Ginza Station, the café is also accessible from Tokyo Metro’s Higashi-Ginza Station and Hibiya Station, as well as JR’s Yurakucho Station. It is close to Tokyo Station, so if you are sightseeing nearby, be sure to stop by!
