SPOT

Geibikei Gorge

猊鼻渓

Enjoy the scenery of this gorge filled with oddly-shapes stones from up close on a boat ride.

This gorge is lined by 100m-tall cliffs on both sides. Visitors are attracted by the massive stone walls, oddly-shaped rocks, and the changing colors of the maple foliage in autumn. The sight of the boatman steering a boat through the gorge using a single pole is also impressive.
