The sight of crowds carrying around 100 portable shrines is one you will not forget.

Portable shrines and musical groups converge from all areas of Asakusa and parade the streets, accompanied by masses of glamorous, kimono-clad crowds. The sight of around 100 portable shrines being carried is magnificent.
