Enryaku-ji Temple

This sacred Buddhist destination was built over 1200 years ago.

In addition to the head temple of the Japanese Tendai sect of Buddhism located on Mount Hiei, situated on the border of Kyoto and Shiga Prefecture, hundreds of other buildings can be found throughout three areas: the East Pagoda, West Pagoda, and Yokawa. It is also a great place to explore nature.
