- Daigo-ji Temple
This temple is home to the oldest wooden five-storied pagoda in Kyoto.
This temple is made up of 3 areas: Sanboin, which overlooks the gardens, Shimo-Daigo, where the five-storied pagoda resides, and Kami-Daigo, which is about a 1-hour walk from Shimo-Daigo. The cherry blossoms in the spring and the autumn foliage in the fall are both beautiful here.
