The god of water is enshrined at this shrine, located in the mountains in northern Kyoto.

Known as the home of the god of water, this shrine has long been frenquented by sake brewers, confectioners, and all kinds of other people that deal with water on a daily basis. It is also known for its ties to the god of matchmaking.

HOURS 6:00am-8:00pm, Open until 6:00pm from Jan. 4 thru Apr. 30 and Dec. 1 thru 30, Open all night from 10:00pm on Dec. 31, Talismans, etc. available from 9:00am-4:30pm
