Officially named Rokuon-ji Temple, this temple is commonly referred to as Kinkaku-ji, which takes its name from the Kinkaku Golden Pavilion that is covered in pure gold leaf. The golden building reflecting on the surrounding pond is picturesque and gorgeous.
