Kinkaku-ji (Rokuon-ji) Temple

This temple is famous for the Golden Pavilion, whose second and third stories are covered in pure gold leaf.

Officially named Rokuon-ji Temple, this temple is commonly referred to as Kinkaku-ji, which takes its name from the Kinkaku Golden Pavilion that is covered in pure gold leaf. The golden building reflecting on the surrounding pond is picturesque and gorgeous.
