This massive temple stands in the middle of the city, not far from Kyoto Station.
The grand appearance of the buildings at this temple, including the main building with its massive roof, is truly impressive to see. The Karamon Gate is also known as The Sunset Gate because its brilliant colors at sundown are mesmerizing.
