- Nara National Museum
This museum is dedicated to Buddhist art, including masterpieces from the National Treasures.
This museum was established to preserve and share with the public the treasures found within shrines and temples. The Shoso-in Treasures Exhibition in the fall is a huge success every year. It features roots that trace back to the Silk Road and treasures that made their way to Japan in the 8th century.
