Shurijo Castle Park

首里城公園

This park speaks to the prosperity of the Ryukyu Kingdom.

* This information is for December 2015. Closed from October 31, 2019. This Park (including its facilities) has been partially opened from November 5th.

This park is built around Shuri Castle, the former residence of the king. It is located on top of a hill that looks out across downtown Naha. In addition to the red main palace, there are a number of highlights including impressive gates and places of prayer.
