Sapporo Snow Festival

さっぽろ雪まつり

Snow sculptures and ice sculptures appear throughout Sapporo during this festival.

Approximately 250 snow and ice sculptures can be found at three locations. Some of the snow sculptures are based on anime characters. The festival also features a snow slide and other attractions that children can enjoy.

EVENT/OPEN PERIOD	Early to mid Feb.
HOURS	Light Up Odori location open until 10:00pm, Tsudomu location (slide, etc.) open 9:00am-5:00pm, Susukino location open until midnight (until 10:00pm on last day)
