Sanno Festival

山王まつり

Crowds dressed in old costumes and carrying portable shrines while parading through downtown are a sight to see.

This festival is held by Hie Shrine, located in Nagatacho, the center of Japanese government. Held on alternating years with the Kanda Festival, around 500 participants parade the streets of downtown with portable shrines and floats in tow.
