- Imperial Palace
The Imperial Palace is located where Edo Castle once stood.
This has been the location of the Imperial Palace since the Emperor Meiji moved there in 1868. A visit inside required advance registration, but the Niji-bashi iron bridge stretching over the moat, the Sakuradamon Gate and more, and surrounding area are open to the public.
