This museum's collection includes around 12,000 cultural assets.

Opened in 1897, this museum's collection features many works of art and cultural artifacts. Special exhibitions are held at the Meiji Kotokan, while the Heisei Chishinkan features masterpieces organized by genre.

HOURS	9:30am-5:00pm (entrance until 4:30pm), Open until 6:00pm during special exhibitions (entrance until 5:30pm), Fri. 9:30am-8:00pm (entrance until 7:30pm)

NOTES RE: CLOSINGS	Closed on the following day if it falls on a national holiday. Closed during New Year's holidays. Additional closures may be possible.
