- Mt. Wakakusa Fire Festival
Fire is set to Mount Wakakusa after around 200 fireworks are set off.
This event encourages the growth of spring sprouts by burning the grassland areas of 342m high Mount Wakakusa. The sight of orange flames dancing and lighting up the skies on a clear January night is truly memorable.
