Nara Park

奈良公園

 

 

This well-known Nara park is home to famous temples and shrines, as well as lots of deer.

History and nature come together in this park, with Kofuku-ji Temple, Todai-ji Temple, and the Kasuga Grand Shrine all sharing one area with ponds and grassy plots. Approximately 1000 deer, which have become a symbol of Nara, can be found munching on grass in the park.
