A Look Inside Japan's First
Minions Room!

Spend the night in the world of the Minions! These mischief-loving characters from the popular Despicable Me movies have taken over Hotel Universal Port in a special collaboration with UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN® to celebrate the hotel's 10th anniversary. You can even stay in Japan's first ever "Minions Room" surrounded by these little guys. Let's take a look inside!

The Minions Have Arrived!

Hotel Universal Port is the official hotel of UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN®. In celebration of the hotel's 10th anniversary, the super-popular Minions have been given free reign over the interior of the hotel. From the entrance to the front desk, it's Minions as far as the eye can see. You get the feeling you've stepped into their world.

There's a Minion waiting for you at the front desk when you check in.

Once you've checked in, head up to the Minions Room! To get there, you'll need to take an elevator. Of course it's jam packed with Minions.

At Last, the Minions Room!

It won't be hard to tell which room is the Minions Room thanks to this specially designed door. It's hard to keep from getting excited when you push the door lever and hear the cheery voices of the Minions calling out, "Bello!"

With so many Minions hanging out on the walls, it's almost like they were there to welcome you the moment you walk in the room.

Another thing you'll notice right away is the missile-shaped beds. These are the same design as the beds that appear in the Despicable Me series.

Then there's the crocodile couch which is also the same as the one we see in Gru's home in the movie.

The crocodile couch can turn into a double bed. Adding in the two missile beds, this room can comfortably sleep four guests.

On the walls hang pictures from Gru's home in the movie. Gru also makes an appearance as well.

And should you happen to look up, you'll notice that one pesky Minion has put a hole in the ceiling...

The toiletries in the bathroom are stored in a cute Minions case. You can take this home with you at the end of your stay!
