This cultural facility is both a museum and a library with approximately 50,000 manga, including those translated into English, lining 200 meters of shelving for your reading pleasure. There are also a number of permanent exhibitions that provide insight into the evolution of manga as well as what goes into making one. If you go on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or national holiday between 11:00am and 5:00pm, you can have your portrait drawn by a manga artist!*
