- Ginkaku-ji Temple
The Silver Pavilion is an expression of the Japanese aesthetic sense referred to as wabisabi.
Though built based on Kinkaku-ji Temple, this temple features a more laid back feel. There is also a modernistic white sand garden. Despite the name, silver leaf was not used on any of the buildings.
